How to reach Fatih from Istanbul Airport SAW?

Hi, my husband and I were travelling to istanbul in December.

We will land on airport SAW so how can i get to my hotel in Fatih? The airport shuttle service costs 55€ and that's too much for us.

Has somebody a better idea? thanks a lot.

The Answer

First, you need to exchange some money to buy Istanbul card (for at least 6 tickets), tokens, or tickets for the bus.

There are Istanbul city busses (E-3, E-5, E-10, E-11, etc.), anyone can show you in SAW.

Choose E-3, to go to the European side of the city. It takes about 1.5 hours (50 km) according to the traffic to reach the destination. The price is around 2€ / people.

When you reach the last stop, walk about 5 minutes to reach Istanbul Subway (Metro). Using Metro, go from 4. Levent to (Vezneciler/Şişhane/Fatih). It takes about 20 minutes (15 km). The price is about 1€ / people.
